CouncilChief@Firecrafter.org - Theo Pell

Theo Pell is the current chief of Firecrafter council. As chief he plans to expand attendance and opportunities in Firecrafter while ensuring a fun, safe environment for everyone. His favorite Firecrafter rank requirement is the campfire program requirement for Firecrafter.

He climbed Firecrafter hill at grand ritual 2019, and received the Minisino honor in 2023. He staffed the Firecrafter area at Ransburg Scout Reservation from 2022-2025. He served as the Ransburg Fire Vice Chief in 2022 and 2023, and the chief in 2024, as well as serving as the central flame vice chief from 2022-2023. He was the previous council vice chief.

The duty of the council chief: Presides of all meetings of the firecrafter council, council committee, and council executive committee, appoints committees necessary to conduct the business of Firecrafter, ensures the tasks of other council officers are properly coordinated, and conducts the elections of Firecrafter council officers. CouncilViceChief@Firecrafter.org - Ben Parker

Ben Parker is the current vice chief of Firecrafter council. As vice chief he plans to improve the lone troop program, as well as provide more leadership for flame officers. He claims to be better than Theo Pell at fire by friction.

He climbed Firecrafter hill at midsummer ritual in 2021, and received the Minisino honor in 2024. He staffed the Firecrafter area at Ransburg Scout Reservation from 2024-2025. He served as the Ransburg Fire Chief in 2025, as well as the Rising Phoenix Ember vice chief from 2022-2023 and the chief from 2023-2024. He was the previous council secretary.

The duty of the council vice-chief: Acts as chief in the chief's absense, assist the chief in the chief's duties, and coordinates & assists with with all summer camp related activities. For a complete list of duties, see the by-laws.


CouncilSecretary@Firecrafter.org - Kris Green

Kris Green is the current secretary of Firecrafter council. As Secretary they plan to optimize the website, and make Firecrafter leadership at all levels more friendly, accessible, and achievable for new Firecrafters. Their favorite Firecrafter rank requirement is the inspections, reviews, and unknown test of the Firecrafter ritual

They climbed Firecrafter hill at grand ritual 2019, and received the Minisino honor in 2023. They staffed the sports area at Ransburg Scout Reservation from 2021-2024, directing the area in 2023 and coordinating it in 2024, as well as being a commissioner in 2025. They served as the Ransburg Fire Vice Chief in 2021, the Secretary in 2021-2022, and the Chief in 2023, as well as being the Rising Phoenix Ember Chief from 2022-2023 and West Flame Chief from 2024-2025.

The duty of the council secretary: Keep minutes for meetings of the council committee and executive council committee, manage communications and registrations, and maintains this website. For a complete list of duties, see the by-laws.


CouncilTreasurer@Firecrafter.org - Will Anspach

Will Anspach is the current treasurer of Firecrafter council. As Treasurer he plans to improve the online store as well as assist ember and flame chiefs in the creation of ember and flame merch. His favorite Firecrafter rank requirement is the overnight experience requirement of Firecrafter.

He climbed Firecrafter hill at midsummer ritual 2023, and received the Minisino honor in 2025. He staffed the stem area at Ransburg Scout Reservation from 2023-2025, directing the area in 2025. He served as the Orion Ember vice chief from 2024-2025, and the Ransburg Fire secretary in 2025.

The duty of the council treasurer: Manages and reviews funds and records of funds in collaboration with the alumni treasurer, and manages materials for distribution to events. For a complete list of duties, see the by-laws.

Council News / Activity

    Today, council members and officers of Jaccos Towne Lodge as well as a some outstanding scouts and scouters attended the 30th annual Governor's Breakfast for Scouting. This is an event designed to celebrate the successes of individual scouts, as well as to highlight and share inspiring stories of achievements through scouting. This is a crucial event for fundraising for the council. The fundraising from this event helps to make scouting more accessible and affordable for the leaders of tommorrow.

    Council + Lodge Contingent: Theo Pell, Wyatt Ott, Clara Baskin, Ben Parker, Clare Meschi, Tori Yoder, El WIllis, Kris Green, Mary Horton, Lucas Jones.
