Webelos Camper

 The Webelos Camper rank is earned by first year Webelos and can be earned at Cub Scout Day Camp or Webelos Adventure Camp.  The badge can only be earned at summer camp and not throughout the year.

Rank Requirements:

1. Attend Webelos Camp, (Cub Day Camp or Adventure Camp).

2. Learn the Outdoor Code and Repeat it from memory.

3. Be introduced to the Scout Law. (Webelos should be introduced to the Scout Law and its

meaning, but they are not expected to memorize points.)

4. Know the Scout Moto.

5. Know the Scout Slogan.

6. Know the Scout Sign.

7. Know the Scout Salute.

8. Know the Scout Handshake.

9. Learn how to set up a tent and then set up a tent.

10. Tie 2 of the following: Square Knot, Bowline, Taut-line Hitch.

11. Tell what each part of the Webelos badge stands for.

12. Tell the three ideals of Firecrafter.

13. Participate in the parent/ son overnighter, or explain how to take a safe hike. 14. Read the requirements for the rank of Firelight.
